Northumberland Heath is DA8, up on the rising ground between Bexleyheath and Erith. This is where the interwar suburb gives way to the older riverside town, and the change happens within a few streets. Houses above the road

On the Bexleyheath side you find the usual three bed semis with bays and drives, and those we can quote without seeing. Head north towards Erith and the houses get older and narrower, with terraces, smaller rooms and stairs that turn twice on the way up. Those take longer for the same number of bedrooms, especially on a deep clean, and we say so in the quote rather than afterwards.
