Monster Cleaning Bexleyheath does five jobs: end of tenancy cleans, carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, regular housekeeping and one-off deep cleans. Each has its own published price, and what we quote when you ring is what you will be billed. Evenings and weekends are charged exactly like weekdays.
The five services
| Service | From | Priced by |
|---|---|---|
| End of tenancy cleaning | £156 | Number of bedrooms; oven extra |
| Carpet cleaning | £36 | Room, or flight of stairs |
| Oven cleaning | £77 | Appliance |
| Regular cleaning | £23 an hour | Hours, weekly or fortnightly |
| Deep cleaning | £186 | Team size and hours, plus £30 kit |
If you are handing keys back
You want the tenancy clean. The bedroom count sets the price, with studios at £156 and four-bed houses at £425, and the time we take has no bearing on it. The finish is measured against your check-in inventory, so that is what we work to. Cupboards are cleaned inside and out, bathrooms are descaled, skirtings and door tops are wiped, and floors are done last. The oven is not in the band; it goes on for £31. Anything on the check-out report that we had cleaned gets a free second go if you phone inside two days. Carpets and the oven are the extras.
If you want somebody every week
That is regular cleaning: one cleaner, ideally the same one each time, charged at £23 an hour when weekly and £24 when fortnightly, which puts a three hour weekly slot at £69. There is no contract. A cleaner who knows your house gets quicker at it, which is why we keep people on the same homes. Ironing, at £12 an hour, is added on top of the booked cleaning time.
If the house has got away from you
Book a deep clean. A team comes once, at £26 an hour per cleaner plus £30 for equipment, and the smallest team we send is two people for three hours, so £186. Two cleaners for four hours costs £238, and three cleaners for three hours £264. Three for six hours is £498. It suits a house after builders, before visitors arrive, or one that three hours a week has never kept up with.
People mix these up, and it is understandable. Keys going back to an agent points to the tenancy clean. If you are staying, the question is whether you need a reset or ongoing upkeep.
If it is just the oven or the carpets
A two-oven AGA and a 90cm range are both £143, a double £110 and a single £77. While the racks and trays soak, we clean the inside, the door glass and the seals by hand, and you can cook that evening. A hob costs £23 on the same booking and an extractor £28.
A carpeted bedroom costs £36 and a living room £43. A through lounge is £61, a flight of stairs £41, and rugs £35 or £51 depending on size. We use hot water extraction and nothing else. Bonnet and dry-powder methods leave grit at the base of the pile, which is what actually wears a carpet out. We soften the rinse water as well, so the local hard water does not leave pale wool looking chalky.
Sofas, mattresses and curtains
These go by the item. Two seater sofas cost £57 and armchairs £33; a mattress costs £35 and a dining chair £13. Curtains are £35 or £42 depending on length. Corner sofas and larger suites get a phone quote once we know the fabric. Leather is cleaned and conditioned by hand.
Local things that affect the booking
None of these change the price, though they do affect which slot we offer. Most houses have drives, so the van stops at the door. Full garages and utility rooms are worth mentioning, so we can book time for moving boxes. The borough has sixteen conservation areas, and their original single-glazed sashes need cleaning by hand. The water is hard too, coming from chalk and the Thames catchment, so descaling is built into every job where it applies.
Where we work
The same prices apply across DA5, DA6, DA7, DA8, DA15 and DA16, from Welling out to Erith. Our areas page covers each neighbourhood. The £67 one-off minimum, and everything else, is on the price list. To book, call 020 8077 2940; the contact page lists what we will ask you.
Questions we get asked
Which service do I need when I move out?
The end of tenancy clean. Its price follows the bedroom count, £156 at the studio end and £425 for four bedrooms, and it is done to the standard of your inventory. The oven goes on for £31 and carpets from £29 a room, both less than they cost on their own.
Can I book two services together?
Yes, and it often works out well. The racks can be soaking while we extract the carpets, so pairing an oven (£77) with a bedroom carpet (£36) adds little time, and the £67 minimum is only relevant once.
Do evenings or weekends cost more?
No. We work 8am to 7pm, seven days, at the same prices, so a job in Erith costs the same as one round the corner from the Broadway.
How soon can you come?
Usually within two or three days. Month end is the busiest stretch, when check-outs pile up. An oven or a carpet can often be fitted in the next day if there is a gap.
Do you clean upholstery?
Yes, priced per item: £57 for a two seater sofa, £33 for an armchair, £35 for a mattress and £13 per dining chair. Curtains are £35 short or £42 long.
